This Cookie Policy explains how GigBook uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit gigbook.io or use the GigBook application (the “Service”). This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy.
These are required for the Service to function. They enable authentication, keep you logged in, and secure your session. The Service cannot work properly without these, and they cannot be disabled through the Service itself.
These remember your preferences, such as your role, dashboard layout, and notification settings, so you do not have to re-enter them each visit.
These help us understand how visitors use the Service so we can improve it. They collect aggregated, anonymized information about pages visited, features used, and errors encountered.
We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add them in the future, we will update this policy and seek your consent where required.
Some features rely on third parties that may set their own cookies, including Stripe (payment security), Google Maps (location and maps), and our analytics provider. These third parties manage their cookies under their own policies.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse non-essential cookies or alert you when cookies are being set. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using core features of the Service.
To adjust your in-app notification preferences (email and SMS), visit Notification Settings within the GigBook app.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. We do not currently respond to these signals, but we limit tracking to what is needed to operate and improve the Service.
We may update this Cookie Policy as we add features or change how cookies are used. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
